On March 20 every year, this day is observed a World Head injury, which highlights the importance of preventing serious head injuries, especially in road accidents. In countries like India, where people largely use two wheelers, and here head injuries remain one of the leading causes of death in crashes. Many experts stress a lot on on wearing helmet to keep your head protected so that major difference can be brought in saving lives that are caused every day on roads.

It is recommended to use full face helmet, when it comes to safety, it provided much better protection compared to half face designs. It not only covers the entire head, but also other face parts which includes chin, lower face, and jaw, which are commonly to see get injured during the time of accidents. Here is where full face designed helmet comes in, as lower face have higher possibility to get impacted during the time of crashes.

It is recommended to sell and buy helmets that lets safety standards and carry the ISI mark issued by the bureau of Indian Standards. And it has been seen that many half face helmets have failed to meet these requirements, decreasing the reliability.

 

A good amount of fines can be imposed by authorities and even the licence can get suspended for not following the helmet rules. It is recommended to wear well fitted helmets that are certified full faced, to those who daily commute by two wheelers and have highways in their routes.

 

Choosing the right helmet is not just about following rules, but it also about ensuring your own personal safety. A good quality full face helmet can significantly help in reducing the risk of life threatening injuries and offer better protection on the road.
