With Chinese automaker Chery the JSW Group has partnered to expand its presence in India, and the latest development signals a new SUV entry. In India, the Chery Tiggo has now been patented,  just days after its global debut in China. Models possible launch in the Indian market in the near future has been hinted by this move.

The SUV is expected to compete with models like the Mahindra XUV 7XO, after its launch, adding more competition to the growing mid size SUV segment. The Tiggo 7L appears to be more premium and larger alternatives to the standard Tiggo 7, offering styling and features that is updated.

Design, Dimensions And Interior Features

With a bold and modern design, the Tiggo 7L stands out. It comes with Large V shaped grille at the front paired with sharp headlamps and unique triangular elements on the bumper. Other features include flush style door handles, big alloy wheels, and connected LED tail lamps at the rear. The overall designs looks more refined and sportier than the regular version.

The SUV measures 4,655 mm in length and comes with a 2,720 mm wheelbase, in terms of size, making it bigger than the standard Tiggo 7. Better cabin space and road presence is expected with the increase in size.

Comfort and technology is focused by the cabin inside. A large 15.6 inch touchscreen infotainment system along with a 10.25 inch digital driver display is featured. Connectivity options like Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and Carlink is supported by the SUV. It also comes with other features like panoramic sunroof and LEVEL 2 ADAS for enhanced safety and convenience. The system is powered by a Snapdragon 8155 chipset, ensuring smooth performance.
