MoU with the Karnataka government has been signed by Toyota Kirloskar Motor to establish a new technology focused hub near Bengaluru. Named the TKM Bizntel Hub, the upcoming facility will be developed at KWIN City and expected to strengthen Toyota’s engineering, digital transformation, and intelligent manufacturing capabilities in India.
In the presence of Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, M.B. Patil who is Industries Minister, and senior Toyota official the agreement was signed. The hub spread across 300 acres will focus on mobility testing, digital integration, advanced manufacturing solutions and supply chain innovation.

Toyota Signs MoU With Karnataka Government For New Tech Hub
This Toyota signed MoU with Karnataka Government is a part of its long term India expansion strategy. The main plan of the company is to leverage Bengaluru’ strong engineering talent and IT ecosystem to support future mobility and manufacturing technologies.
According to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, the partnership would help in boosting employment, innovation, and sustainable industrial growth in Karnataka. It is also highlighted by Toyota that the project aligns with initiatives like Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India.

The proposed TKM Bizintel Hub will support:
- Mobility testing and evaluation
- Intelligent manufacturing initiatives
- Digital transformation across operations
- Engineering and localisation support
- Supply chain efficiency improvements
According Toyota’s belief this new hub could help India to strengthen its role in global operations while supporting carbon neutrality and future mobility goals.

Karnataka Emerges As Key Auto Tech Destination
The MoU has been signed by Toyota with Karnataka Government at a time when the state is attracting major investment in automative technology and smart manufacturing. The project will be developed in KWIN city, where it is being planned as a large innovation driven smart city near Bengaluru.
According to the reports, the project may involve an investment of around Rs 1,200 crore over five years and could create nearly 200 jobs during the initial phase.
Toyota with this expansion continues to deepen its presence in India beyond vehicle manufacturing, focusing on technology, engineering, and future ready mobility solutions.
