Officially, Tata Motors had announced the 2026 Tiago and Tiago EV launch in India with updates in styling, new features, and refreshed interiors. The all new hatchback has been introduced with the price of Rs 4.69 lakh (ex showroom), while the Tiago EV starting price is Rs 6.99 lakh (ex showroom).

Major cosmetic and features upgrades has been brought by the company to help Tiago lineup stay competitive in the affordable hatchback segment.

Fresh Exterior Styling

LED headlamps featuring eyebrow style DRLs has been added as catchy features in the Tata Tiago. A revised first bumper, and updated alloy wheels has also been updated. At the front, the hatchbacks get connected sale LED taillmaps with a refreshed number design.

Meanwhile, the EV model of Tiago gets a closed off grille, aero style alloy wheels, and EV specific styling element to give the car a more cleaner look.

Updated Cabin And Features

Both the hatchbacks has received a revised dashboard layout with a floating 10.25 inch infotainment system, new steering wheel, and an updated version of digital display in interior. Several other premium features has also been added by Tata to this new lineup.

Engine And Battery Details

The Tiago EV continues with 19.2kWh and 24kWh battery pack choices. Tata claims a MIDC range of up to 285 km. The company also says the EV can add 100 km range in just 18 minutes using DC fast charging.

The petrol version of the all new Tata Tiago continues with the 1.2 litre naturally aspirated engine producing 86 hp. The CNN version delivers 75 hp and now an AMT gearbox option is also added in the segment for the first time

Price Details of the New version

The petrol range of the all new Tiago starts at Rs 4.69 lakh, while the CNG version starting price is Rs 5.79 lakh (ex showroom). The pricing of Tiago EV is Rs 6.99 lakh, with a battery as a service option also available.

With updated styling, improved technology, and enhanced safety, the 2026 Tiago and Tiago EV launch in India strengthens Tata Motors’ position in the hatchback market.
