2026 Jeep Meridian Launched With Sliding Middle-Row Seats In India

Jeep has launched the 2026 Meridian in India with a very small but a useful update aimed to improve the cabin comfort. Sliding second row sears on selected variants has been added to SUV now, while all other aspect remains same without any updation.

 

Sliding Second Row Seats and Variants

 

The major key update on the 2026 Jeep Meridian is the addition of manually sliding middle row seats on the Limited (O) and Overland trims. With the 60:49 split seat layout is how this feature works, which allows the two third of the seat to slide up to 130mm 140 mm is the remaining one third.

 

According to Jeep third row space gets improved. This feature is not present in lower spec Longitude and Longitude Plus variants, while the base Longitude trim is offered only as a 5 seater.

Prices, Engine and Features

 

 

The prices of the 2026 Jeep Meridian remains the same. The starting price of the SUV is Rs 23.33 lakh, while the Limited (O) trim price starts from Rs 30.01 lakh and the top end Overland AWD variant costs Rs 37.48 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). Power comes from the same 2.0 litre diesel engine producing 170 hp and 350 Nm, paired with either a 6 speed manual or a 9 speed automatic gearbox.

 

AWD is also offered by the automatic versions of the Limited (O) and Overland trims. Its features include a very fancy 10.1 inch touchscreen, a 10.2 inch digital driver display, dual zone climate control, powered front seats, a panoramic sundered, 6 airbags, a 360 degree camera, Level 2 ADAS, electronic parking brakes, and 9 speaker Alpine sound system.
