With the launch with of its first EV, in India on April 10, Royal Enfield is all set to enter two wheeler space with its Royal Enfield Flea C6. The brand known for its classic petrol motorcycles, has marked a major shifts, as it steps into the growing EV segment.

The company alongside the launch will also open its first dedicated electric vehicle showroom in Bengaluru. As the foundation for Royal Enfield’s upcoming electric lineup, the Flying Flea C6 will act along with more models, including the S6, expected to follow in the near future.

Performance, Range And Key Features

This Flying Flea C6 is powered by a 15.4 kW electric motor paired with a 3.91 kWh battery pack. In just 3.7 seconds it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph and reach a top speed of 115 mph. A claimed range of 154 km has been offered by the motorcycle on a single charge, making it great and suitable for daily urban commute.

In just 65 minutes, the onboard charger is taking battery from 20 per cent to 80 per cent, which shows the charging is also relatively quick. Modern features like all LED lighting, Google based navigation, wireless phone charging, transaction control, cornering ABS, and multiple ride modes, including Sport and Individual for a customised riding experience is bike loaded with.

Design, Weight And Urban Focus

With its compact and unique styling, the Flying Flea C6 stands out in terms of designs. Features like exposed frame, girder style front suspension, a floating seat, and a removable pillion setup are inspired by the original Flying Flea. So, if compared to Royal Enfield’s traditional models, these elements provide it a distinct identity.

In an aluminium casing the battery is housed in that helps with cooling and aerodynamics, while keeping in check the overall look enhancement. Weighing just 124 kg, it is expected that the Flying Flea C6 to be the lightest motorcycle from the brand, making it easier to handle in city conditions.
