Triumph Speed T4 Testing In India Hints At Upcoming 350cc Model

Triumph Speed T4 350cc Variant Spotted, Hinting At 2026 Launch

On Indian roads a test mule of the Triumph Speed T4 has been spotted. It is hinting at a possible chances of new 350cc version of the bike. When you look at first, the prototype looks almost very similar to the current model, with no clear changes visually in design, hardware, or features. This shows that the latest update has its own focus in the engine rather than styling.

The Triumph has its mai working on expanding its lineup for the Indian market. A new 350cc engine platform has been confirmed by the brand as their plan. This is the brands move who aims at taking advantage of India’s GST structure. Where under 350cc motorcycles attracts lower taxes compared to higher capacity models.

New 350cc Engine to Make Pricing More Competitive

The 305cc upcoming version is expected to be based on the existing 400cc engine platform. Triumph can bring the bike under the lower 18 percent tax bracket, by slightly reducing engine capacity. Compared to 40 percent for bikes above 350cc. This could leads to the drop in pricing around Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000, bringing it under he segment of competition.

Currently, 398cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine that delivers around 31 hp and 36 Nm of torque is used by the Speed T4. Though this new 350cc engine is expected to produce slightly lower figures but will likely retain the performance that was smooth like before and strong mid Range power. By this Triumph maintain its premium feel with this approach while keeping the bike more accessible.

This new model could easily rival popular bikes like the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and Honda CB350 RS in Indian market, because of its competitive pricing.
